About This Class/Blog

Topics: Climate Change Through Time is a class organized and taught by an interdisciplinary team of graduate students in anthropology, biology, and earth and planetary sciences at the University of New Mexico. The primary goal of this class are to give upper level undergraduate and new graduate students a background in the climatic history of the earth as well as methods of studying paleoclimate, so they will be prepared to study and research the current climate change event Earth is experiencing. We also hope to give students a grounding in reading primary scientific papers and presenting and writing about their own research. The purpose of this blog is to extend discussions about our topics of study and about scientific papers beyond the classroom. If you are a visitor to this blog, please feel free to participate in our discussions.
